For a long period of time, I didn't consider myself a programmer, I was more of a PO in my last company(which was a software development agency) and the main reason was that I wanted it to be that way! I guess it was because I thought engineering and developing skills are not that important or anyone could do it, however this belief changed a while ago. I found out that engineering is cool and I was in fact an "engineer"( I did my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering). I did learn programming when I was 14 and I started out with Qbasic and then did a bit of PHP and html, css, python, Java, C/C++, and microcontroller's programming along the way through college, but I never considered myself a "programmer".
